Product Support Specialist

The Product Support Specialist is a multi-functional role combining customer support and product implementation. This person will work closely with customers and the internal software development team to ensure product implementations are delivered on time and meet customer requirements. Post implementation, this person will provide training and support to end-users. We are looking for an organized and self-driven individual that can coordinate with a variety of teams and effectively communicate with various stakeholders (clients, internal teams, other external partners).

  • Participate in multiple concurrent product implementations, which involve business analysis, project management, functional configuration and testing
  • Provide user training and assist with user guide maintenance
  • Provide first-level support to customers via email and phone. The support includes business and technical issues which the candidate needs to diagnose and trouble efficiently and effectively communicate and escalate to clients and Operin employees.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a competitive undergraduate university
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in either a financial services or technology support role preferred
  • Experience with or a desire to learn about the Investment Management industry
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required
  • Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills
  • Must be comfortable in a fast pace, growing environment, with multiple concurrent projects and engagements
  • Experience with MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Project or another project management tools is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of SQL Server or another relational database is a plus
